Business coaching that actually changes your numbers

You started your business because you were good at something. But being good at the work and being good at running the business are two different skills. We close that gap, week by week, until the business works without burning you out.

The real problem nobody talks about

Most small-business owners in the UK hit a wall somewhere between year two and year five. Revenue plateaus. Hiring feels risky. Cash flow is unpredictable, and every month you wonder whether this is the month things finally tip the wrong way.

The usual advice is to "work harder" or "invest in marketing." But you already work 55-hour weeks, and you tried Facebook ads last year. What you actually need is someone who will sit across the table from you, look at the numbers, and tell you the truth about what is and is not working.

That is what we do at Success Path Biz Coach. We are not motivational speakers. We will never ask you to write affirmations on a mirror. What we will do is review your profit-and-loss statement, map your customer acquisition costs, identify the two or three decisions that will move the needle this quarter, and hold you accountable for making them.

Our clients are tradespeople, consultants, e-commerce founders, and professional-services firms across Wales and the wider UK. They come to us when they are tired of guessing and ready to know.

Four stages from stuck to scaling

1. Clarity call (free, 30 minutes)

We talk about where your business is right now, what keeps you up at night, and whether coaching is the right fit. No pitch deck, no hard sell. If we are not the right match, we will say so and point you somewhere useful instead.

2. Diagnostic deep-dive (week one)

We gather your financials, review your pricing, map your customer journey, and identify the biggest constraint. Most owners are surprised: the bottleneck is rarely where they assumed. This stage produces a written report you keep regardless of whether we continue.

3. Fortnightly coaching sessions

Ninety-minute calls every two weeks, each one structured around a single priority. Between sessions you have specific tasks: renegotiate a supplier contract, test a new pricing tier, delegate a process to a team member. We track progress in a shared dashboard so nothing slips.

4. Quarterly review and recalibration

Every 12 weeks we step back and measure what changed. Revenue, margin, hours worked, customer satisfaction. If the plan needs adjusting, we adjust it. If you have outgrown the current engagement, we scale it down or wrap it up. No lock-in contracts.

Questions we hear often

Our standard engagement runs £650 per month for fortnightly sessions plus the shared dashboard and between-session support. The initial diagnostic deep-dive is a one-off £350. We do not charge for the first clarity call, and there is no minimum commitment beyond the first month.

We are based in Wales and most of our clients are here, but we coach business owners across the UK over video calls. A handful of clients prefer in-person meetings, which we accommodate within a reasonable driving distance of our office in Long Purdy-Erdmanborough.

Typically between one and twenty-five employees, with annual turnover from £80k to about £2m. If you are pre-revenue or running a venture-backed startup, we are probably not the right fit; our methods are built for owner-operated businesses that need to be profitable now, not in five years.

A consultant writes a report and leaves. We stay. The whole point of coaching is sustained accountability: you make the decisions, we make sure you follow through and adjust when reality does not match the plan. We also do not charge day rates for a team of juniors; you work directly with the lead coach every session.

Yes. Give us two weeks' notice before the next billing cycle. We have no exit fees, no penalty clauses. If coaching is not delivering a return you can feel in your bank account, we would rather you stop than stay out of obligation.

ILM Level 7 in Executive Coaching, fifteen years running and selling two owner-operated businesses (one in construction services, one in B2B SaaS), and ongoing CPD through the Association for Coaching. We are happy to share credentials on request during the clarity call.
